Reception

We are committed to ensuring your visit is as comfortable as possible, we have detailed our available services below, please don’t hesitate to contact Reception who will be more than happy to assist you during your stay.

Reception is open from 8am – 11pm, if you have any queries at all during your stay, please contact our front desk by dialling 0 on your in-room telephone. After 11pm our night porter will be available to assist you. Should you intend to stay out after 11pm please inform reception of your anticipated time of return so that we can inform the night porter.

Wi-Fi

Free wi-fi is available in all guest accommodation and public areas. If staying in the main hotel connect to “WaterlooHotel” network – no password is required just open your web browser and wait for the landing page where you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions. If staying in one of our external lodge rooms connect to “WaterlooHotelGuest” network – no password is required just open your browser and wait for the landing page where you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served i the Bridge Restaurant daily from 7am – 10am. We will ask you to book your table for breakfast each morning, please inform us at reception. Self service continental buffet is available with cooked items to order.

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping team will be servicing your room daily. If you do not require a room service, please use the “Do Not Disturb” signs provided and hang them outside your door. Should you require fresh towels please leave your used ones in the bath and our housekeepers will replenish your bathroom with fresh ones: help us help the planet & save water by considering re-using your towels. Please ensure your bed is free of belongings so our team can make your bed for you as we won’t be moving your personal items. Dog Friendly Rooms: if you leave your dog in your room housekeeping will not be entering to service. Amenities: Have you forgotten something? We have toothbrush and tooth paste kits available to purchase at reception if you have forgotten yours.

Room Service

Room service is available when restaurant opening hours apply, the full menu is available for room service – please note room service charge is £4.50 per order.

Valuables

The company cannot be held responsible for items of value left in your room. You may store valuable by leaving them at reception. Complimentary in room safe is available in Hotel and Superior Lodge Rooms.

Smoking

All bedrooms and public areas are non-smoking – there is a £250 charge for failure to abide by this policy. The use of E-Cigarettes is also prohibited in all public areas within the main hotel, bar and restaurant areas. E- Cigarette users are kindly asked to refrain from charging their devices in the room unattended, if they are found to be on charge in the room whilst vacant they will be unplugged immediately.

Departure

Our check out time is by 10.30am. Guests leaving before 8am are requested to settle their accounts the night before. We can offer a contact free check out, when you are ready to vacate your room, please contact Reception by dialing 0 on your in-room telephone, we will be more than happy to take payment over the phone and send you an e-invoice if required. Please leave your key in your room or drop your key off at our drop box in the hotel lobby.

The Bridge Restaurant is open for evening meals:

Friday 5.30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday 5:30pm- 8:30pm
The restaurant is closed Sunday – Thursday evenings.
We offer a delicious Carvery every Sunday from 12pm – 3pm.

The Bridge Restaurant is a fantastic venue for functions. Conference facilities and private dining are also available in our Cabinet room. Our menu has a dedicated emphasis on local, seasonal produce. We work closely with local suppliers to ensure we deliver you the freshest quality ingredients on the plate. Look out for our specials menu, which carries on the local and fresh theme.

Food Allergies & Intolerances

Please inform your server of any allergen or intolerances before placing every food/drink order. Our full Allergen booklet is available to view on request. All dishes are prepared in areas where allergens are present, therefore there is a risk that ingredients used in your meal may have come into contact with an undeclared allergen leading to cross contamination. Cooking equipment (e.g. fryers, grills etc) and food preparation areas may be shared, fried items containing different allergens cooked in the same frying oil.

13m heated indoor pool, children’s splash pool, full size Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym.

Swim, Jacuzzi, sauna & steam room opening times:7am until 8pm or until 12pm on your day of your departure. Towels will be provided at the leisure reception. Please note that if the pool area is at capacity during busy times, you may be required to swim at another time or wait before entry is permitted; thank you for your patience and understanding.

The gym open 7am – last admission 7pm close by 8pm. Please ask a member of the leisure team for our full list of house rules, which include: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 8 are not permitted to use the Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Children younger than 12 years of age are not permitted to enter the fitness suite.
