Or if you’re feeling extra adventurous bring your Canicross gear. Betws holds own national event which is held every November as part of the Betws Trail Challenge
For a leisurely stroll try the Artists Walk along the river Llugwy, as well as stunning scenery there’s always a watering hole available for your four legged friend. The walk loops up around the Gwydyir Forest back down into the village – or take the longer hike up to Ty Hyll and then down to Rheader Ewynnol (Swallow Falls). Fair weather makes this a perfect afternoon for picnics and lots of forest bathing and in the rain it makes the falls spectacular

We’re thrilled to announce the creation of our very own dog exercise area, the Wag Zone located conveniently opposite the Waterloo Hotel.
Whether you’re travelling through Eryri or enjoying a stay with us, this space is perfect for giving your furry friend the chance to stretch their legs and enjoy a fun environment with lots of sniffs before embarking on a bigger adventure!
A doggy wash station is available for those muddy paws after days out exploring Eryri/Snowdonia National Park.
